Benjamin Alan Joyce completed his bachelor’s degree in Finance in May of 2022. He’s the son of Alan and Joni Joyce. Ben also has one sibling, his identical twin Zach. During a growth spurt starting in the summer prior to his senior year, he grew eight inches in one year. Notched a season high with six strikeouts in two innings of work vs. Tennessee Tech. Recorded three strikeouts in one inning of relief in win over Missouri. Pitched one shutout inning in relief, recording two strikeouts in win over Western Carolina. Recorded two strikeouts in 0.2 innings in relief in SEC road win over Ole Miss. Saw his first SEC action of his career, pitching 0.2 innings with a strikeout in win against South Carolina. Recorded two strikeouts in one inning of relief in win over Eastern Kentucky.
